"Every great business is built on friendship." That could easily be one of Azendoo’s maxims. We are convinced that bringing a great atmosphere in business can lead to success. That’s why, on the 17th of November, we organised the third edition of our annual meetup, in our office in Bordeaux, as part of the Startup Assembly.

The goal of this meetup was to introduce the different jobs in a startup company. But it was also a great way to make people gather around a friendly party. About 40 people showed up: some of them already use Azendoo, others just wanted to know more about what we do.

Organizing an event like this is always very fruitful, for both our guests and our team. On one hand, people can share their professional experience, meet new people, communicate about their business and on the other hand, it allows us to strengthen the relationship with our clients by meeting face to face.

The event started by our team’s presentation, which you can see below. Each of our teams presented what their job is, how they do it, and most importantly, why. Then we all had the opportunity to have a chat with the guests and learn more about our clients or prospects. While they had a glimpse of what working at Azendoo looks like. ;)

Benoît Droulin and Grégory Lefort, two of Azendoo’s co-founders began the presentations by telling us more about Azendoo’s story.

Byron Dunne, our Business Developer then explained Azendoo’s strategies and business model.

Fred Castagnac, Azendoo’s CMO told us about our Marketing strategy.

Luc Chaissac, Azendoo’s lead designer showed what Azendoo looked like when he first arrived in the company and everything they’ve accomplished since.

Finally, Charley David, Azendoo’s lead developer, explained the process of a adding a new feature in Azendoo.

The aim of the event is also to encourage interaction and we were glad to see that people naturally went towards one another. All in all, it was a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better and to develop their professional network. We never really think of it when talking about customer experience, but organising a meetup is a great way to reward not only your team, but also your clients.

For our part, we really enjoyed it, and we’re looking forward to meeting up again in 2017!

For those of you who couldn’t make it or if you’re just curious about the content of our presentations, here’s a short recap in Frenglish ;).

I recently joined the Marketing & Sales team at Azendoo. I'm keen on trying new recipes or swimming during my spare time.
