Here’s how Emile uses Azendoo to manage his Social Exchange Ecosystem

Hey Emile,

Tell us about what you do!

Sure! My name is Emile Oude Wolbers and I’m one of Deel Lokaal’s board members.

Deel Lokaal‘s main aim is to open ‘share’ shops where people can meet, share thoughts and swap stuff (instead of everyone buying their own lawnmower). We want to facilitate new-economy start-ups with a physical place in villages or town areas.

We combine share and circular economy with a society 3.0 vision : follow nature’s own principle where nothing is wasted but re-used or transformed. In a “Deel Lokaal”, people can share and get knowledge about how to do things differently for a sustainable world and lifestyle.

What made you look to Social Task Management?

We were looking for a collaborative tool that makes sharing information and communication (all in one place) not only possible, but also easy. The tool has to be spot on and easy to learn and work with, because not everyone in the team is a computer or internet expert. Furthermore we wanted the option to turn emails into tasks *and *connect with Evernote, Dropbox and Google Drive. As you know, we found all of this in Azendoo.

How do you use the application?

First, we use it as a task management system. For example, we organize who’s doing what, assign tasks to teammates, real-time messaging and easy document sharing, all for individual tasks.

Second, we use Azendoo as a team communication system.

What is your favorite feature?

I have four actually:

  1. Azendoo is really easy to use,
  2. I really like the subject feature in which I can see at a glance what messages to respond to and what tasks are assigned to who,
  3. As well as the possibility to connect team members per subject
  4. And finally, the discount option for non-profit workers ;-)

What would you add to improve the app?

I would love an integration with user’s calendar together with a simple meeting planning feature would be very nice. Then we would have all we need in one platform!
